With the Sciton BBL, broadband light therapy is used to treat brown spots, age spots, sun spots, and skin texture issues. The BBL machine uses small, short pulses of high-intensity light energy that heats up the outermost layers of the skin. Once the skin begins heating up, your skin then takes in that heat, and is then signaled to stimulate collagen production. Increased collagen production= younger, plumper skin.

What does a treatment look like?
We recommend a consultation prior to treatment in order to decide which treatment pathway is right for you and your skincare goals. The BBL treatment will be customized to you personally, and amount of sessions will vary person to person based on your skin type, and the history of your skin.
The treatment feels (strangely enough) similar to the feeling of a rubber band snapping on the skin. I know, it sounds awful, but it sounds MUCH worse than it feels! Following the treatment, the dark spots may darken, fade and flake off. This is sooo satisfying.
