Julia LaRocca, CNP
Co-Founder
Julia is an AANP board-certified nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience in health care. She was born in Akron, Ohio, and went to The University of Akron for both undergraduate and graduate school. Julia's dream since she became a nurse was to open a medical spa to be able to provide alternative therapy and aesthetics to the Akron Community.
When she isn't working, you can find Julia chasing her 4 boys around, supporting Cleveland sports with her husband, or hanging out with her family and friends!
Amanda Mahon,CNP Co-Founder
An Akron native, Amanda became a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in 2015 and has since worked in Internal and Emergency Medicine. It has been a long-time desire of Amandas to enter the field of Aesthetic Medicine, where she could utilize her passion for skin health and noninvasive procedures.
She has attended multiple trainings and symposiums to further her knowledge and expertise in the field. Amanda has a strong commitment to making her clients look and feel their best. She loves tailoring a customized skin care plan for each of her patients to achieve maximum results. She specializes in laser therapy, anti-aging, and advanced skin care techniques.
In her time away from the Medical Spa, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and her son!
Marissa Crasi, CNP
Marissa CNP is a lively and courageous spirit, always on the go and ready for her next adventure. She shares a special bond with her husband and their beloved cats. Her love for travel takes her to exciting destinations, and she never misses an opportunity to enjoy new experiences and have a good time. With an expansive circle of friends, Marissa is known for her ability to connect with people and build lasting relationships. She is truly one of the most social and fun-loving people, with a contagious laugh that brightens any room. Always bringing energy and enthusiasm, Marissa uplifts everyone around her. Her vibrant personality makes her a cherished friend and fantastic team member.
Alison, RN
Alison obtained her bachelor's degree in nursing from The University of Akron. She has a true eye for aesthetics and specializes in Body Contouring, Skin Care & Laser at Modern Vitality. In her time away from MV, she is busy planning her upcoming wedding, riding her Peloton, enjoying a yoga class... or probably shopping at Nordstrom. She is dedicated to learning more and growing in her role as an Aesthetics Provider at Modern Vitality. We love having you Alison!
Aubrey, CNP
Aubrey CNP is a talented and creative individual, known for her artistic flair and love for all things crafty. She is a dedicated wife and mother, balancing family life with her personal passions. Aubrey has a natural warmth and kindness that makes her incredibly relatable to those around her, creating an environment where people feel at ease. She enjoys running and is an avid reader, always seeking to learn and grow in both her personal and professional life. Her stunning hair is just one of the many things that make her stand out. Easy-going and approachable, Aubrey is a joy to be around, making her an exceptional team member. Whether at work or in her personal life, Aubrey's dedication and cheerful presence inspire everyone she encounters
Emma, RN
Emma is a Registered Nurse with experience in a Burn ICU who has a passion for Skin Care and Wellness. She loves incorporating expertise in functional medicine into her treatments- with a special emphasis on her patients' overall wellness. She loves to travel and spend time with her boyfriend, and her dog, Harlow! She is a true asset to Team MV!
Gabby, Brow Artist
Meet Gabby, our microblading extraordinaire! If you haven't check out her IG page with before & after's, it's a MUST! When she isn't killing it with brows, you can find her at the front desk. She is such a friendly face & is always wearing a smile. Gabby is a mother of 3 beautiful girls and one baby boy! Gabby is a great team player for services and helping out at the front desk!
Andrea, RN
Andrea is a Registered Nurse whose experience as a Charge Nurse on a Telemetry Unit brings her clients a well managed custom care plan. She specializes in Skin Care, Body Contouring, and Laser Treatments! She is married to the love of her life and is a new Mama to her sweet baby boy & girl! She is always thinking ahead and makes recomendations that are exactly what you need to make you look and feel your best!
Meghan Fonce, DPT
Meghan received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Mount Union. She treats primarily orthopedic conditions as well as balance and postural training. She has a specialty in manual therapy techniques including cupping, myofascial release, deep trigger point relief, and kinesiotaping. She loves inspiring people to feel better and move better! When she’s not helping her patients, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and their dog Phoebe.
